My name is Katie Lovett, and I write weird things.

I have been in love with books for as long as I can remember, and have been writing my own stories since I was six years old. (I still have some of those stories.) For the past twelve years, I have been writing seriously, and have been published in short fiction–but of course, I’m working toward becoming a novelist someday.

I write historical fantasy, paranormal historicals, steampunk–pretty much anything strange and set in the past is fertile ground for my imagination. I am a member of RWA and have done a stint as a book reviewer, which I loved but unfortunately don’t have time for these days. I live in Ohio with my husband and children.
